Eppur qualche sentimento tollerante c\u2019\u00e8, un raggio di speranza culturale. Nel Medio Oriente la parola speranza a volte non esiste: se si pensa alla coesistenza di libert\u00e0 sessuali si potrebbe coniare l\u2019ossimoro \u201csperanza impossibile\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOmosessualit\u00e0 in Medio Oriente\u201d (2014, 328 p, 15,00\u20ac) \u00e8 l\u2019opera prima di Nicolamaria Coppola, che del Medio Oriente ha fatto la sua seconda casa. Il saggio apre la collana Globolitical della casa editrice Aracne e affronta la problematica dell\u2019omosessualit\u00e0 in Paesi dove il concetto di identit\u00e0 schiuma in quello di societ\u00e0 e quello di sessualit\u00e0 \u00e8 costretto negli stretti ambiti della cultura maschilista. L\u2019omosessualit\u00e0 non \u00e8 accettata, ma esiste, si muove strisciando nei vicoli oscuri dei sentimenti umani, in vicoli oscuri che tendono alla luce.<\/p>\n<p>Il libro pone una lente di in gradimento su una societ\u00e0 che vive di contraddizione: si condanna l\u2019omosessualit\u00e0 ma, al tempo stesso, si sancisce che il sesso maschile e quello femminile debbano sempre percorrere due vie separate.
